TDKC to support
International Truck and Engine Company
Fairborn, Ohio.
- The Design Knowledge Company (TDKC) has been notified
of the pending award for a contract to support the
International Truck and Engine Company with the
redesign of its

BGen Norman
Andersson Joins TDKC
Fairborn, Ohio.
- The Design Knowledge Company (TDKC) welcomes its
newest employee, BGen (reserve) Norman Andersson, as a
Sr. Manager.
Mr. Andersson will be helping with customer projects in the
Colorado Springs area. Mr. Andersson (who spent almost 4
years at US Space Command) brings a wealth of experience
and abilities to the TDKC team. "Norm is a great
addition to the TDKC family", says TDKC President Dan
Schiavone, "Norm brings the unique customer
understanding that you only get being a General
Officer". In addition to working existing programs, Mr.
Andersson will also be helping TDKC with business
development opportunities. "We are looking to expand our
initiatives in the Colorado Springs area and Norm will
be a central player in that initiative", continues
Schiavone. BGen Andersson is currently the Deputy
Commanding General for the
96th Regional Readiness
Command for the US Army Reserves. Previously he had
assignments as the Commander of the 1st Mobilization
Brigade at Fort Carson, CO, and also as a Senior Planner
for US Space Command.

TDKC Opens New
Corporate Office
Fairborn, Ohio.-
To better serve its
customers and partners, The Design Knowledge Company
(TDKC) has relocated to a new corporate offices located
in Fairborn, Ohio. This new office space provides
additional
laboratory space, offices, and close
proximity to Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The
new corporate offices are located at
3100 Presidential Drive, Suite 103 Fairborn, Ohio 45324.
This move to a new location will support the expected
50% growth in projects and employees planned for 2007.

TDKC Selected To
Support SAIC Springfield Facility
Fairborn, Ohio. – The Design Knowledge Company
(TDKC), a provider of engineering research and
information technology services and solutions, announced
today the selection of its KONECT proposal as a pilot
project under Science Application International
Corporation's (SAIC)
Springfield Solutions Center (SSC). The tools
available to support this include modeling and
simulation capabilities, collaboration tools and
Emergency Operations Center tools. The SSC will provide
an environment to test collaborative technology,
demonstrate integrated technologies to numerous
customers, and access to software and hardware
technology from numerous companies. TDKC will be
supplying a variety of simulation and decision support technology to support
SAIC with the SSC
project. TDKC expects to add additional employees
to support the on-site work at the Springfield, Ohio
facility.

TDKC Awarded Over
$950,000 of AFRL R&D Projects
Beavercreek, Ohio. – The Design Knowledge Company
(TDKC), a provider of engineering research and
information technology services and solutions, announced
today awards of over $950,000 in new AFRL R&D projects.
These projects include research and development in the
areas of mobile air traffic control, automated metadata
generation for ISR applications, and argumentation tools
for decision-support applications. "These projects
continue our strategic thrusts in key technology areas
that will enable the development of commercial products
for TDKC, says Eric Loomis, TDKC Vice President.

TDKC Research Presentation Voted Best Paper At 2005 Fall Simulation
Interoperability Workshop (SIW)
Orlando, FL -TDKC's
SIW paper titled, "A Conceptual Approach To
Composability" was selected for the prestigious
2005 Simulation Interoperability Workshop (SIW)
SIWzie Best Paper Award. SIW is semi-annual conference
sponsored by the a Simulation Interoperability Standards
Organization (SISO).

TDKC Chief
Scientist Presents Paper at 2005 SIW Conference
Orlando, FL -
TDKC Chief Scientist, Dr. James McCracken, will present
his knowledge composability research at the
2005 Simulation Interoperability Workshop (SIW) in
Orlando, FL this Fall. Dr. McCracken will be presenting
his research paper titled "A Conceptual Approach To
Composability" along with Dr. Robert Eggleston of the
Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/HE), Wright-Patterson
Air Force Base, Ohio.
